So I had my Chrysler at the rinky-dink Italian shop that has actually maintained the car for the past TWENTY YEARS. The guy there is named Tony and he is just the best mechanic I have ever dealt with.
He's one of those old-school mechanics who fixes by feel and sound of the car. It's cash only, no books and you have to bring the parts to him. But for $400 he replaced all my axle bearings, tuned my carburetor, fixed my brake light switch and gave me a spare tire for free!
The Chrysler now runs stronger and smoother than it ever has and he's found a Fiat 124 spider for me to buy. Good, honest old fashioned mechanics are hard to find and Tony is one of the last good ones out there. You rock Tony.

I wouldn't mind meeting up with Tony some day, as someone headed into the mechanical field, I'd love to hear stuff from him.

He's a wizard and we need more mechanics like him.
